New Version of ProModel Released ProModel Corporation, a leader in the simulation industry and specialized in simulation software and services in manufacturing, business operations, health care and services industries, has released ProModel version 6.0. Some of the main new features and tools in this new version are: Checking for ProModel Update   This feature checks the PROMODEL web server for an update for ProModel software, download any available update, and then install the update. Custom Filtered Trace   The Trace feature now contains an optional, custom filter, which allows you to pick the elements of your model, or custom text string, that you wish to view in the Trace window. Expand Views Feature   The Views feature now includes a new, more flexible dialog. Users may also define up to 150 views, which is an expansion over the previous restriction of 29 views in the previous version. This expansion allows users building big models (e.g. logistics, supply clain) to view more areas of simulation models in an easily manner. More Graphics for Viewing Statistics   Time Series Statistics for locations now record data for the state of the location over time. As a result users can observe the states of locations (e.g. idle, operational and other status of machines and storage areas) over the time of the simulation. Flexible Downtime Function   Command can be set to bring up downtime for any locations at any given time.
