On March 22 OEMS teamed up with Wincas Technology Limited to organize a seminar "Get to market faster with Collaborative Document Management and Advanced Production Planning" in the CEPA Business Development Centre in the Hong Kong Productivity Council Building.

During the half part of the seminar, Ms Jacqueline Li, the chief consultant and the founder of Wincas Technology Limited,

gave an overview on different kinds of documents and other contents used in all industries and the benefits of using software solutions to manage them. Then a software demonstration on their web-based collaborative document management portal solutions, which has just won the "Best Industry Solution" in 2004 Lotus Award, was shown.

Then Mr. Harry Li, the managing director of OEMS, presented a topic on production planning and scheduling. He first talked about the typical problems manufacturer face nowadays on production planning and scheduling. Then he showed how Preactor finite production scheduling software could help to solve those problems so that they can minimize costs for raw materials and WIP and at the same time provide quality service to their customers.
