The Preactor family of advanced planning and scheduling
solutions offers different levels of features and
functions that takes you from FCS through APS and
the supply chain.
Preactor is scaleable in that each version of the
software in entirely compatible with other versions.
This means that you can purchase a lower cost version
of Preactor initially but then upgrade to another
version as your requirements change. In this way
you only pay for what you need.

Preactor 200 is the entry level
configurable product. Preactor 200 can be
integrated with other applications such as
ERP/MRP and data collection packages. The
database fields and menu buttons can be customized
to meet your application requirements. |

300 Finite Capacity Scheduling (FCS) |
| |
|
|
Preactor 300 FCS is a multiple
constraint scheduler. This means that you
can define as many resources (constraints)
as you like for each operation. Secondary
resources can be made finite or infinite and
you can set up secondary resource groups to
define, for example, operator skill teams. |

Preactor APS adds additional
features and functionality over the Preactor
FCS members of the Preactor family of scheduling
tools.
In particular, Preactor APS has additional
scheduling techniques (event and resource
focused), which allows you to select and create
your own scheduling rules, and it has features
for adding material constraints based on the
Bill of Materials supplied to it from your
ERP/MRP system.

Preactor APS SMC module can
deal with the linking (pegging) of orders
received from your ERP/MRP system. By providing
these links Preactor APS can take into account
both resource and material availability when

more than one Master Scheduling System (MSS)
